8. Rev James O'Kelley was born on 19 March 1791 in Virginia. Census gives his birth state as VA In 1851 he was an itinerant preacher in Christian Church at Liberty Church in Baldwin Co GA.¹⁹ He died on 12 January 1874. James was buried at O'Kelley Cemetery in Monroe Walton Co Ga. reported in the book written by Peter Jefferson Kernolde P 1909 Lives of Christian ministers: over two hundred memoirs as a descendant Rev James O'Kelly, founder of the Christian Church which James became a minister.

	While I have no proof, I suspect this image was taken by James Francis O'Kelley in his studio in Athens Clarke County Georgia.  James Francis  established his studio in November  1857 and operated it well into the 1880s.  It is likely many more images  of our O'Kelley ancestors were taken  by James Francis.  He was the grandson  of Charles O'Kelley the uncle of this Rev James.

Rev James O'Kelley and Frances "Frankey" Harwell were married on 11 November 1814 in Oglethorpe Co, GA.²⁰ They²⁰ appeared in the census in 1860 in WALTON CO GA. Frances "Frankey" Harwell was born in 1800 in NC. She was buried at O'Kelley Cemetery in Monroe Walton Co Ga.

Rev James O'Kelley and Frances "Frankey" Harwell had the following children:

24	iii.	Thomas F O'Kelley was born on 25 February 1823. He died on 28 December 1853.
+25	iv.	John Wesley O'Kelley.  A 37 marker Y-DNA test of Ronnie O'Kelley descendent of John Wesley O'Kelley confirms he descends from Thomas O'Kelley.
26	v.	Cynthia R O'Kelley was born on 19 November 1828 in Georgia USA. She died on 2 November 1918 in Walton County, Georgia, USA.

29	viii.	Barbara Calendar O'Kelley was born on 29 February 1840 in Walton County, Georgia, USA. She died on 27 March 1910 in Walton County, Georgia, USA.
