First Generation

1. Colla-da-Chrioch the first king of Orgiall.

One of the three Collas from which a great many great Irish families sprung.  Dr John O'Hart Irish Pedigrees makes the claim that the Kelleys of Ulster and the O'Kellys of Hy-many descend from Colla-da Chrioch and I have listed the pedigree below but my Big Y 700 DNA match with a descendent of Hy-Many indicates we share an ancestor at R-DF13 and he lived about 4500 years ago and our matches to ancient remains indicate that our shared ancestor likely lived in, around, or near Yorkshire England so I have no faith in the Colla-da-Chrioch claim.

Colla-da-Chrioch the first king of Orgiall had the following children:

i.

Rochaidh .  the O'Kelleys of the Clann Ceallaigh in modern day Co Fermanagh and Co Monaghan Ceallach ancestor  Clann Kelly
