357. Ceallach O'Kelly Born abt 1620 and died in the war of 1641.1

Ceallach was described by Dr John O'Donovan as "The O'Kelly" and upon his death this honor was passed to Teige, his cousin and son of Brian, Ceallach's uncle. This is proven by a 1715 deed which states Teige of Aughrim was O'Kelly. O'Donovan also tells his readers that Charles O'Connor made the claim that Ceallach sent a deputation to John Kelly of of Clonlyon but that claim is disputed by the 1715 well witnessed deed that states Teige recently of Aughrim was known as O'Kelly.

Ceallach O'Kelly and Betagh were married. Betagh (private).
