Dr John O'Donovan claimed in his book "Tribes and Customs of Hy-Many" was a Last Chief of Hy-Many but this seems disputed by Rev Patrick K Egan who makes claim that Feardoroghoe Ó Ceallaigh of Aughrim was setup as Chief of Hy-Many in 1595.
