Fourth Generation161. Sarah Delilah O'Kelley was born on Mar. 4, 1839 . She died in 22 Feb 1927 and is buried in the Eastview Cemetery Conyers Rockdale Co Georgia. He was her cousin Warning - there is a Find A Grave record giving Sarah buried in the O'Kelley Family Cemetery in Gwinnett Co George under the name of Susan Delilah O'Kelley but I am certain that is Sarah's cousin who was named Susan Delilah O'Kelley and I have requested the creator of that record make the correct. Alethea Jane Macon in her book tells her readers that Sarah inherited the plantation of her uncle Benjamin but I wonder if she too may have mixed Sarah Delilah and her cousin Susan Delilah up. It is Susan Delilah O'Kelley we find buried in the Gwinnett Co cemetery and Benjamin's plantation was in Gwinnett Co. There is considerable distance between Loganville GA and Conyers and Sarah was a wife of a physician, I doubt she needed money or the estate where Susan appears to not be married something she seems to have shared in common with her uncle Benjamin. Sarah Delilah O'Kelley and DR.FRANCIS C. O'Kelley were married on 18 October 1855. DR FRANCIS C. O'Kelley was born on 16 April 1833 in Oglethorpe Co, GA. He died in 1882 in GWINNETT CO. GA as a Physician.
